RACE UPDATES. 8/28/14
Schedule: Packet Pick up. 4:00 p.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday Leadville Outdoors 225 Harrison Avenue. Packet Pick up also available 7 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning Start/Finish Line 6th street and Harrison. Race Briefing 8:45 a.m. Start/Finish line. Race start 9:00 a.m. sharp.
Aid stations: CLIF is our fabulous nutrition sponsor and all aid stations are stocked with CLIF electrolyte drink, CLIF Bars and CLIF Shots, additionally, water, cokes and the usual treats and snacks. Aid stations are staged at miles 3, 7, 10 for the 1/2 and miles 3,7,11,15,19,23 for the marathon.

Leadville is a historic mountain community and North America’s highest incorporated city. At a lofty elevation of 10,152', this race offers exceptional scenery with constant views of 14,000’ peaks in the Sawatch mountain range.
Leadville was listed by Men’s Journal as one of the nation’s top 20 “Dream Towns in America”, and Runner’s World identified Leadville as a “Trailway to Heaven”.
Team GECKO has been fans of Leadville Co. for more then twenty years. After years of staging successful racing events in Pagosa Springs Colorado now is the time to realize our dreams of spreading the GECKO word further afield and Leadville Colorado is the obvious choice.
