2015 Event Schedule

The majority of our events are in Pagosa Springs CO, which is at 7,200' of Altitude! The exception is the Rocky Mountain High-est Road/Half marathon in Leadville CO at 10,152'
Registration for all 2015 Events is now Open! Please check the details for field limits and early registration discounts so you don't miss out! See you in the Summer.

May 30th, 2015 - 10am
Non-Competitive Fun Run-Jog-Walk
3k and 5k with your furry friend

This family event, for all ages and abilities, will start and finish Chow Down Pet Supplies in the City Market Center. Prizes for the best dressed!



June 13th, 2015
8am 1/2 and Full marathon and 10am 5 & 10k (trails)

The XTERRA Turkey Track Trail Run kicks off the season with an awesome, early season trail race on almost 100% sweet flowing single track. Plenty of scenic trail, rolling hills and mellow climbs through Aspens, Ponderosa Pines and open forest (okay, it also has rocks, streams, roots and perhaps a little mud).

PLOW Pagosa Lakes Open Water Swim Challenge!




June 14th, 2015 at 10am
1/2 mile and 1 mile open water swim in one of the beautiful Pagosa Lakes.
Set in the authentic mountain town of Pagosa Springs, at the base of the majestic San Juan mountains, come and challenge yourself to a safe and fun 1/2 mile or 1 mile open water swim.




June 20th, 2015
Pagosa Springs Endurance Horse Ride
Set on the East side of town, this scenic course traverses track and trail below the majestic South San Juan Mountains. With spectactular views of Pagosa Peak, Nipple Mountain and Square Top, the ride rolls in and out of Ponderosa forests and Aspen groves along a mixture of ATV trails, Forestry Road, County Road and single track.This remote ride brings riders together for a day in the pristine forest of the South San Juan Mountains around Pagosa Springs. 7,500’ of climbing, 10,000’ of elevation. Big climbs, high elevations, mountain vistas and plenty of single track through some of the region’s most spectacular wooded trail.







July 4th, 2015 - 8AM
Non-Competitive Fun Run-Jog-Walk
3k and 5k downtown before the parade

This family event, for all ages and abilities will start and finish downtown. Prizes for the best dressed – Red, White and blue or Stars and Stripes!

August 22nd, 2015
The Devil Mountain 50 Mile & 50k Ultra 630am
& Demons of Dust 5k, 10k & 1/2 marathon 8am

This legendary trail ultra is One hell of a run!
This remote and beautiful classic Ultra brings runners together for two days in the pristine forest of the South San Juan Mountains around Pagosa Springs. 7,500’ of climbing, 10,000’ of elevation, bonfire party at the finish line and pancake awards breakfast combine to make this an authentic mountain ultra. With the Demons of Dust distances of 5k, 10k and half marathon, this event is accessible to all runner abilities. Big climbs, high elevations, mountain vistas and plenty of single track through some of the region’s most spectacular wooded trail.

Road Marathon and Half-Marathon

Test your lungs while racing one of the most scenic routes in North America, in historic Leadville Co at 10,152’. You’ve heard the stories, seen the movies and know the reputation. Now, you get to earn the t-shirt, create new legends and your story! In World Famous, the Infamous Leadville, Co. Rocky Mountain High-est! America’s Highest! Maybe even the World’s Highest Road Marathon and Half Marathon.

Saturday Registration on site Leadville Outdoors 4pm-7pm.
Sunday Morning Registration 7am-8:30am.



September 26th, 2015 830am
5k, 10k and 1/2 marathon (trails)
The Mountain Chile Cha Cha celebrates Fall and trail running, combining our incredible in-town trails with the famous Pagosa Springs music and green chile festival. Celebrate the series, the season, trail running and getting kids outside on Pagosa's killer downtown trail course. Beautiful, challenging and remote, all right downtown.

Non-Competitive Fun Run-Jog-Walk
3k and 5k Run-Jog-Walk (or Snow Shoe)

Ho-Ho-Huff! This family event, for all ages and abilities, will start and finish at the Ross Aragon Community Center (find us amongst the Christmas trees!) Get some fresh air on this downtown route that will be held Snow or Shine (bring your snow shoes if you need to!)
